# The exe infrastructure


exe.dev is a heterogeneous platform. The public product runs on bare metal
hosting providers and we rack our own clusters.

For individual users, we run multi-tenant infrastructure in many [regions](https://exe.dev/docs/regions) around the world. Get computers you can use for hosting web sites and developing software.

Small teams can leverage our multi-tenant infrastructure for CI, 

When teams grow, for businesses we supply [single-tenant hardware](https://exe.dev/docs/enterprise-single-tenant). Enterprises can use [BYOC](https://exe.dev/docs/enterprise-byoc) to use existing hyperscalar infrastructure.

The machines we rack ourselves are specialized to our platform: large network interconnects, lots of extra NVMe. This allows rapid live-migration of customer VMs and how we serve [lots of IOPs](https://exe.dev/docs/architecture).
